皆さん、こんにちは。
ガーナでソーラー発電教育のアシストをしているみやたかです。
今週は赴任先の同僚達と太陽光発電技術の研修を受けに来ています。

Hello, I'm Takayoshi Miyazaki
a Japanese volunteer working for a technical school
as a solar energy education adviser in Ghana, Africa.

From May 16 to 20,we attended a short course about solar energy technology.

場所はガーナでナンバー１の工業技術系大学、クワメ・エンクルマ大学。
（因みにクワメ・エンクルマさんはガーナの初代大統領の方です）
清掃が行き届いていて、ごみひとつ落ちておらず、きれいな大学です。

Now we are in KNUST,
the best science and technology university in Ghana.
It's very clean on the ground in the university :).

さて、講師の話によると、本来アメリカ・ヨーロッパでは10日間の講習を
参加費用がかさむという理由で、半分の5日間に短縮したとのこと。
「これはチャレンジなんだ！」と言ってましたが、ちょっときつい気が。

According to the lecturer of this seminar, in other country, such as US and Europe,
the course is held for 10 days, but due to the cost in Ghana,
it is shrink to 5 days with same contents !

He said, "it's difficult but it's our challenge!"
I feel the contents in 5 days,is short time and too tight for trainees.

まぁともあれ、同僚も
「ここは以前タカが教えてくれたね」、「難しいので教えてくれない？」
と、彼らの良い復習＆新たな勉強になってるようで、僕も満足です。

Anyway, my colleagues said to me,
"I remember your lecture!", "I cannot understand here!" ,etc
This course helps their review and gives them new knowledge. .

なぜか日本語が書いてあります。思わず写真を撮ってしまいました。
参加者で日本語を読めるのは僕だけ。なぜこんなところに日本製品？
この謎は、また次回お話ししましょう。

Of course, only I can read this Japanese in class.
Why is this Japanese product in the university, Ghana...?
