皆さん、こんにちは。
ガーナでソーラー発電教育のアシストをしているみやたかです。
先週は赴任先の同僚達と太陽光発電技術の研修を受けていました。

Hello, I'm Takayoshi Miyazaki
a Japanese volunteer working for a technical school
as a solar energy education advisor in Ghana, Africa.

Last week, for 5 days from May 16 to 20.
We attended a short course about solar energy technology.

写真は実技だったソーラー街灯の設置の様子です。
一緒に来てくれた同僚達も、研修でそれぞれがしっかり学んでいたようで
彼らのこれからの成長がさらに楽しみです。

My colleagues seemed to acquire more knowledge in each.
I’m looking forward how they grow in solar technology field.

さて、先の投稿で、なぜ日本のソーラーパネルがあったかというと
実は5年ほど前にJICAとガーナ政府がソーラーシステム教育に関して
プロジェクトを立ち上げて、この大学を支援していたんです。

By the way, why was the solar panel made in Japan in KNUST?
In fact, JICA and Ghana government donated
this school solar technology education. about 5 years ago.

プロジェクトで使っていたと思われる器具を見て、
同僚も「こういう実験ボード、僕らの学校にほしいね。」と
ソーラー教育に関して色々アイデアが浮かんでいるようです。

When my colleagues entered the solar Laboratory in KNUST.
they found a practical board and said, “This is nice, we need it!”
They seemed to hit upon many ideas for solar education.

そんな大学に置いてあるソーラーの実験装置に関しては、講師の方から
「いつでも使いに来てくれていいよ。」との許可を頂いたので
また機会を見つけて同僚達と大学に来れたらなと思っています。

The trainer allowed me to come and use the apparatus anytime.
I hope I come again to use them with my colleague.

ということで、１工業高校とガーナ有名大学とのコラボレーション。
お互い力を合わせて頑張れるよう色々仕掛けていきますよ。
僕が安心できるようになるのは、彼らの本気の頑張りがあってこそです。

We got a good relation with The Energy Center in KNUST.
I believe that we can improve the solar education each other.
Their strong effort must help me relax on the solar project.
