さて前々回の特集では、パームワインを採取している時点での写真での記事でしたが、

先日、クリスマス用のパームワインをはじめから作るよーという情報を聞きつけ、その様子を見に行ってきました。

というわけで今回は、前々回の特集で説明なく終わってしまったパームワインの作り始めの紹介をしましょう。前回と今回の記事を読んで、これであなたもパームワイン通です。

１．パームヤシを地面に倒す。

まず、木を倒します。切り倒すのではなく木の根元の周りを掘ります。1時間近くかけて掘った結果、木は音を立てて倒れていきました。僕を含め数人で見ていましたが倒れた瞬間、みんな歓声を上げていました。

1. Push a palm tree down.

At first, we need to fall a tree down, not cut down but like push down. Look at the photo, and you can see the person who digs around the tree. He dug about 1 hour and finally he could fall it down. We saw the situation and cheered him a lot!

２．1週間置いておく。

今回は5日程度。初日は1本倒れていたのが改めて見に行くと5本倒れていました。クリスマスということでみんなたくさん飲むのでしょうね。
