Namibia Trip ① — Sesriem!

One of the places I had always wanted to visit after coming to Namibia was Sesriem!

Sesriem is about 340 km from Windhoek, the capital of Namibia.
To give you an idea of the distance, it is roughly the same as traveling from Toyota City in Aichi Prefecture to Tokyo Disneyland in Japan, which is about 320 km.

I took a shuttle bus and traveled along what is called an “off-road” route, where the roads are not paved. Since the vehicle was constantly shaking, it felt almost like being on an amusement park ride!

The road was not only unpaved, but there were also some steep and uneven sections, so the bus was shaking from side to side and up and down.

There were no tall buildings anywhere in sight. Instead, there was a vast, beautiful landscape stretching as far as I could see.

I really enjoyed the drive while taking in Namibia’s incredible natural scenery.
