皆さん、こんにちは。
ガーナでソーラー発電教育のアシストをしているみやたかです。

お久しぶりです。もう１月が終わりますね。
活動も終盤で落ち着いてきたので更新を再開します。
３月２２日に帰国予定です。それまでよろしくお願いします。

Hello, I'm Takayoshi Miyazaki
a Japanese volunteer working for a technical school
as a solar energy education advisor in Ghana, Africa.

Long time no see! This month, January is almost over.
I restart this blog because my volunteer work is on the final stage.
I finish this volunteer work in March this year.

昨年はソーラーゆで卵の作り方で更新を終え、夏休み、新学期。
そして、そこからソーラーシステムの設置工事を開始しました
が、何せ新学期、先生も授業で忙しく工事が進みませんでした。

Last June, I updated how to cook egg with solar cooker.
After the long summer vacation, the new school term was started.
However, due to the press of school work, it’s difficult for teachers in charge of the solar project to keep working for the solar system installation.

また、それに輪をかけて、入ってくる機器の導入が遅れたり、
購入決済に不備があったりと、数えきれないほどトラブルがあり、
対処＆ヘコむことが何度もありました。

In addition of the press, there were many trouble on this installation work, like delayed delivery of the item, unfairness in invoice etc...so I had been very tired.

そうして何度も工事の中断がありましたが、その遅れを取り戻すため、
先生方は生徒を連れ土曜や日曜に工事に来てくれたことも。
貴重な休みを返上しての工事。嬉しかったことは言うまでもありません。

We could not help stopping this installation again and again but in order to make up for this delay, they often came to school with their student to do the work on holidays. I was very happy for their effort.

隣のグラウンドで地域のスポーツ大会を実施している中
生徒と一緒に屋根上にソーラーパネルを設置！なんてこともありました。
手伝ってくれた生徒達には本当に感謝です。

We installed solar panels on the roof when a sports festival was held in the school football field, near the solar lab. I was grateful for students working for the solar panels installation without watching the fes.

そうして今月１月中旬に屋根上ソーラーシステムが完成。
先生・生徒達の力で組んだシステム。いい経験になったことでしょう。
今は清掃等メンテナンスの方法を教えているところです。

Finally, we could finish the roof solar system installation.
I think it's a good experience for them to install the system by themselves..
Now I’m teaching how to maintain the solar system.

残すは地上設置。（もともと教育用に屋根・地上の２タイプを予定。）
計画段階にはなかった、突如、建物の前に植えられた木の撤去で
学校側と長々揉めましたが別のところに植えることで双方合意。

Before I leave here in March, I want to finish the ground mount solar system in front of the lab.
At first, we got approval of the ground solar system proposal from the school last March, but other school members planted the trees on the site, so we came across a trouble with them. Finally, we managed to reach the compromise that they cut trees and plant in other site.
